Sadly, the long term status of the Port Richey repeater site is in question. After the first of the year, if a new tower location in West Pasco is not found in our area, it will be taken offline.
Shown below is a photo tour of our VHF & UHF repeater systems and the APRS Digipeater & I-Gate located in Port Richey, Florida. The site is a commercial broadcast facility. The systems are located at Lat 28.16.97N, Long 82.42.70W, Grid Square EL88PG.
Until January 31st 2010, our repeater systems are linked, 24 hours a day, to the West Central Florida Group's NI4CE repeater network. At that point this system will no longer be associated with the NI4CE network.
The repeater system is on Echolink via node KG4YZY/R (4429). KG4YZY/r is open for use by all licensed Amateur Radio operators. All users of the system are asked to observe Amateur Radio Code and all FCC Part 97 rules.

Using 4/3's earth radius modeling, shown is estimated coverage. Range is based on 5ft AGL for the operator. Most mobiles work to the area where light blue and dark cross. Add 20% if using a 30ft outdoor antenna, remove 30% using a handheld indoors...

This is the 70cm repeater antenna. This antenna is 240ft above ground level (258ft ASL). Our UHF repeater is located at 442.650MHz with a positive offset. The system requires a PL tone of 100 hz, and generates 100hz for tone squelch....

This is the 2 meter repeater antenna. This antenna is 205ft above ground level (223ft ASL). Our VHF repeater is located at 146.760MHz with a negative offset. The system requires a PL tone of 100 hz, and generates 100hz for tone squelch....

1.25 meter Linking Antenna
This is the 1.25 meter linking antenna to maintain our link into the NI4CE repeater system. This antenna is 150ft above ground level (168ft ASL). This antenna points to the 220mhz NI4CE linking repeater 65 miles away in Peebledale, Fl (Western Polk)..

5cm 802.11a Antenna & Router
This is the 5cm 802.11a WiFi antenna we use to bring internet up to the site at 80ft above ground level. Using a Mikrotik RouterBoard, we utilize a special configuration that allows us to operate the link at 5650Mhz in the Part 97 amateur allocation....

4ft Ku Band Satellite Antenna
This 4ft Ku Band Satellite dish is used to feed the freetoair receiver inside where we grab the audio from NASA TV to air shuttle launches and landings on the repeater system live in real time. A oversize dish is used to reduce rain fading.
